Infection control measures in corona times

Reinforced measures are in place from day one to prevent the spread of infection.
– We look after the health and safety of employees and guests. The corona outbreak has not yet been beaten back. We are well prepared for reinforced measures from the opening of the facility hotel.

Site manager Ståle Gundersen says Fjordbyen Innkvartering must follow all guidelines and advice from the Institute of Public Health and local authorities to avoid the spread of infection.
– Everyone should feel safe with us, says Gundersen.

Reinforced routines
From day one, Fjordbyen Innkvartering has reinforced routines for cleaning and disinfecting contact surfaces and touch points.
– We plan to increase the regularity of cleaning, especially of contact surfaces and touch points. This applies, among other things, to tables and chairs that must be disinfected after use and placed at a distance in line with the authorities' recommendations, says Gundersen.
Hand sanitizer is available to everyone, both staff and guests.
– We recommend its use.

Good routines introduced
– Employees practice good hand hygiene through frequent hand washing and the use of disinfectant liquid. In addition, masks are used and we comply with distance requirements in line with the authorities' recommendations as they develop over time.
Based on developments and the authorities' advice, it may become relevant to use food packages, time limits for breakfast and dinner service and other measures.
– Notices and information about infection control measures and changes to the measures will be provided at the facility hotel and to our guests, also through notices/posters and other markings.
